So, pics of 'Umbrellas, that's what was called for. Leading up to our July meeting, there had been no rain for a little while so very little hope of any street photography to shortcut the creative juices!

In desperation, I purchased a pack of cocktail umbrellas for 50p, wondering what on earth to do with them - then had the brilliant(?) idea of putting them into a floor lamp which has five seperate sections with wire shields - ideal for holding cocktail umbrellas!

Using the various blending modes in Affinity Photo, I created a number of different effects - my favourite is the blue themed one at the end - I don't know why, I just like it.
